AI Features
Nighing offers AI-powered daily and 30-day summaries that analyze your time entries and provide insights about your productivity patterns, focus areas, and work habits.
On your Dashboard, click "Generate Summary" to get a 30-day analysis. For daily summaries, use the "Summarize" button next to each day in the Daily Breakdown section.
Nighing supports Gemini (Google), Groq, and OpenAI. You can configure your preferred provider and API key in your Profile settings.
For Free users, Nighing provides basic AI functionality. Pro users can add their own API keys for unlimited AI summaries and faster responses.
Basic AI chat support is available on Free. Full AI summaries and analytics are a Pro feature. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited AI-powered insights.
Account
Go to your Profile page and navigate to the password section. Enter your current password and your new password to update it.
Yes, you can update your email in your Profile settings. You may need to verify the new email address.
Go to Profile and scroll to the Delete Account section. This action is permanent and will delete all your notes and time entries.
Yes, we take security seriously. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share your personal data with third parties.
Yes! You can sign in with Google, GitHub, or Facebook for quick and secure access to your account.
General
The Free plan includes unlimited notes, tags, and basic time tracking with 7-day history. The Pro plan ($9/mo) unlocks AI-powered daily/monthly summaries, 30-day analytics, productivity trends, custom AI providers, and priority support.
As per our Terms of Service, we do not offer refunds. You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Simply click the "Start Timer" button in the navigation bar. You can associate the timer with a specific note or tag. When you're done, click stop to save the entry to your log. Pro users get AI summaries of these activities.
Yes, your data is private by default. We do not sell your data. If you use AI features, your text is processed by our AI partners (OpenAI/Google) but is not used to train their models.
Go to your Profile page (click your name in the top right), scroll down to the "Subscription" section, and click "Manage Subscription". This will open the user portal where you can cancel.
There is no hard limit on the number of notes you can store in Nighing. Whether you have 10 notes or 10,000, the system is designed to handle your growing collection. Free users enjoy unlimited note creation, and Pro users get additional features like AI-powered summaries and advanced time tracking analytics. Your notes are stored securely and remain accessible as long as you maintain your account.
The Pro plan on Nighing offers advanced productivity features to help you stay focused and achieve your goals. For $9/month, you'll gain access to AI-powered daily and monthly summaries, which provide insights into your work habits and time usage.
Additionally, you'll get 30-day analytics, allowing you to track your progress over time, and productivity trends to identify areas for improvement. You'll also have the option to customize AI providers and receive priority support from our team.
According to our Terms of Service, each user can only have one active account. Creating multiple accounts is not allowed. If you need help with managing access or permissions for a team or project, I recommend checking our help center or submitting a Support Ticket at support@nighing.com.
The best and quickest way to contact us is through the in-app Support Ticket system, easily accessed by tapping the Help icon (question mark or chat bubble) on any Nighing screen. This method helps us assist you efficiently with questions regarding notes, tags, time tracking, dashboard performance, or your $29/month Pro plan subscription. Yes! You can organize notes by project or category. Each note acts as a container for related time entries, making it easy to track work on specific projects.
Yes, Nighing has instant search. Just start typing in the search bar to find notes by title or content. Results appear immediately as you type.
Yes—you can delete any note directly from the Notes page by selecting the trash icon. Deleting a note permanently removes it **and all time entries that were linked to that note**, so be sure to export or archive anything you want to keep. This works across all plans, and Pro users can also use tags and AI‑generated summaries to quickly locate notes before removing them.
There is no strict size limit for individual notes. You can write as much as you need. However, for best performance, we recommend keeping very long content split across multiple notes.
Subscription
Pro is $9/month. It includes AI-powered summaries, advanced analytics, priority support, and the ability to use your own AI API keys.
Go to your Profile page and click on the subscription section. Choose Pro and complete payment via Stripe or PayPal.
Yes, you can cancel anytime from your Profile page. You'll retain Pro access until the end of your billing period.

We accept all major credit cards via Stripe, and PayPal. All payments are processed securely.
Technical
Admins can export the database for backup purposes. For individual users, you can view all your data in the app at any time.
Nighing requires an internet connection to sync your data. However, the timer will continue running if you briefly lose connection.
Nighing works best on modern browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser updated for the best experience.
Currently, Nighing is a web application optimized for mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app may be developed in the future.
Time Tracking
Select a note from the dropdown and click "Start" to begin tracking. The timer runs in the background. When you're done, click "Stop" to save your time entry with an optional description.
You can only have one active timer at a time, but you can quickly switch between notes. Previous time entries are automatically saved when you start a new timer.
Yes! Go to the Time Log page to view all your entries. Click on any entry to edit its duration, description, date, or assigned tags.
Currently, time entries are created using the start/stop timer. You can edit the duration after stopping if you need to adjust the time.
Visit the Time Log page to see all your time entries. You can filter by date, note, or tag to find specific entries.
